About YSDR

Yorkie and Small Dog Rescue is a small 501 C 3 Non Profit organization rescue group of all volunteers in the Houston/Conroe area. All dogs are fostered in individual homes so we get to know their personalities and hopefully can place them in the right home for the dog and their new owners.

We require an application and a home visit to ensure that our rescued dogs go to the best home possible. All of our dogs are fully vetted before they can leave our homes. That includes a complete check up, shots, spay/neuter, heart worm test, worming and microchip.

Yorkie, Maltese, and Small Dog Rescue

We are mostly Yorkie Rescue but do take in Maltese and other small dogs occasionally.

Because of their small size, we do not recommend dogs under 10 lbs for small children.
